Running easy whether you are training for a 1 mile, 5k, half, marathon, ultra and beyond is completely personal to you and no one is here to judge you on your easy pace. Or your speed and fast paces either.

Running is to better yourself and compete in whatever way you want to! Whether it is to be a top finisher, Boston qualify (BQ), or just beat your own times you get to decide what your accomplishments are!

Sure running is fun....but have you felt the fatig Sure running is fun....but have you felt the fatigue and burn in your legs after a nice ruck???

I love rucking on my non run days ... I especially like doing this on a leg day to really work on that endurance.

Get the legs nice and fatigued during the lift session and then do conditioning and time on feet with the extra weight during the ruck. 

Helps you prepare for those last miles of a race when your legs are super tired!!

Mental health is important.

Running is not something to be used in place of treatment for mental health. 

As someone that deals with anxiety though, running has helped me manage it over the years!

However, it is a great tool to use to boost your mood! Go for a 3 mile run and get all those positive feelings!

Runners high is a real thing and makes you feel better both mentally and physically!

Don't get me wrong, there are some cases where the biomechanics are wrong or there is too much movement but those are few and far between.

Learn how to build strength and teach your body to move the way it was supposed to and wants to. Support your movements don't try to change them.

We still need to work them! But besides the quads these heel elevated squats are awesome for runners!
