MY WEEKLY WORKOUTS 25TH JANUARY – 31ST JANUARY 2021
MONDAY
Mondays are my rest days and I absolutely love them!! Let’s break away from this “never miss a Monday” mindset and do what is best for our bodies!
TUESDAY
30 minute fast finish run per my Half Marathon Training plan from 80/20 endurance. 20 minutes easy with 10 minutes in zone 4!
Followed up my run with a full-body strength workout and got some heavy lifting in! If you need a full-body workout program check out my Run Strong program that is designed for runners!
WEDNESDAY
2.5 easy miles for some base training.
THURSDAY
Early morning full-body workout followed by 2 nice and easy miles!
FRIDAY
Today was supposed to be a fartlek speed run but I was exhausted and decided to do an unscheduled rest day.
SATURDAY
Started the morning with the 2nd dose for my COVID-19 vaccine and held off until nap-time to get my workout in. Since the plan is for a 6-mile long run tomorrow (hopefully I don’t have too much of a reaction to the shot) my plan had a nice and easy 35-minute run and I did my 3rd full-body strength workout for the week.
SUNDAY
Got Hayley to go for a run with me again! We did 6 miles for this week’s long run. I was a little nervous about this run due to having gotten the 2nd dose of my COVID-19 vaccine yesterday morning. Luckily I had minimal side effects and was able to still feel good on the run!!
Totals
- strength training: 1:05
- Running Miles: 16
- Walking Miles: 0
Keep Running!
